I always stay at this place when in Carlisle. The staff helped me find parking on my first visit. It has everything I need - free Wi-Fi, parking, a flat-screen TV, and outdoor dining. Perfect for my city break.

Had a blast hiking, fishing, and canoeing in the area. The university being 31 km away is totally not a distraction. And how convenient to have an airport nearby. Such a lovely garden, and the free WiFi was a lifesaver.
Oh, how I adored not having anything to complain about.

The location couldn't be better, easily accessible from the main road and a great base for exploring the northern part of the Lake District. The caravan itself was comfortable and well-equipped, with two bathrooms and a spacious lounge. We also enjoyed the lovely view from the good-sized patio, perfect for relaxing in the warmer months.
Although the hosts were helpful and responsive, the heating in the caravan was a bit of an issue. While it was initially warm and comfortable, the pre-programmed settings struggled to keep up when the temperature dropped significantly at night.
